Personal Safety and Self Defense Workshop

Join us for an interactive personal safety and self defense workshop with Lindsey Daehnke of Strictly Self Defense. This session will include training in three key areas.

Mindset: Learn basic personal safety strategies. Myth bust some common safety myths.

Skill set: Learn simple, effective strikes and escapes from common grabs

Planning: Understand the importance of planning for unwanted interactions. Learn the components of an effective personal safety plan.

Instructor Bio: Lindsey Daehnke is the Founder of Strictly Self Defense and offers Trauma Informed Self Defense Workshops throughout Chicagoland. She has been training in the martial arts for more than 26 years. She is a Third Degree Blackbelt in Tang Soo Do and a First Degree Blackbelt in Hapkido. Additionally, Lindsey is trained as a Medical Advocate for Survivors of Sexual Assault.

Participant Waiver: All attendees must have a signed electronic waiver on file in order to participate. Attendees under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the waiver.
