Doggie Recess 🐶🎾
As the weather shifts from fall through early spring, it’s easy for dogs (and their people!) to feel a little restless. That’s where 𝐃𝐨𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 comes in — a monthly indoor play-and-learn event held at Paws Up from 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡.

⏰ 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐩-𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
(Each play session runs about 𝟑𝟎–𝟒𝟓 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬. The last group begins at 𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌. Store closes at 2:00 PM.)
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬:
▪️ An obstacle-style course challenges dogs both mentally and physically.
▪️ Parents work alongside their fur kid, using treats to entice them through each station and reward completion.
▪️ Ashlee will supervise, provide guidance, and control group sizes — she’ll admit dogs based on behavior and safety. If the room is full when you arrive, you may need to wait for an opening.
𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰:
While we’ll be here to offer support and guidance, this is a 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐠. Think of us as facilitators — we’ll monitor the session and assist as needed, but you’ll be the one working with your dog. Since this event takes place during store hours, we’ll also be balancing our time between recess and assisting customers.

🐕 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 — treats are 𝐧𝐨𝐭 included with the entry fee.
(Don’t worry — if you forget, you can purchase treats in the store.) 😉
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠:
* Small training treats (lots of them)
* A standard (non-retractable) leash
* A treat pouch or small container for easy access
* Waste bags
No reservations needed — just drop in, play, and have fun! Come burn energy, build skills, and strengthen the bond with your fur kid in a structured indoor setting. 🍂❄️🌷
