Join us in downtown Waukegan for Waukegan’s Jingle on Genesee on Saturday, November 29th, where we’re bringing together your favorite holiday traditions for one festive evening. This free community celebration is perfect for families, friends, neighbors, and anyone looking to make warm winter memories and capture seasonal photos.
Here’s what’s happening throughout the evening:
• 4 PM – 5 PM: Go Waukegan Winter Hot Chocolate Walk
Hosted by the Waukegan Park District
Check in at Jack Benny Plaza and enjoy a community walk with free hot chocolate for all participants.
• 4 PM – 8 PM: Kris Kringle Artisan Market at the Waukegan Public Library
Browse handmade goods from local artists and crafters.
Free photos with Santa will also be available from 6 PM – 7 PM.
• 4 PM – 8 PM: Holiday Activities at Jack Benny Plaza
Hosted by the City of Waukegan Chamber of Commerce
Enjoy free Conchita’s, champurrado, and family-friendly seasonal activities.
• 5:30 PM: Official Tree Lighting Ceremony at Jack Benny Plaza
Featuring live performances, community carols, and the lighting of the holiday tree.
• 4 PM – 8 PM: Free Downtown Shuttle Service
