At age 19, Charloff, like Prince, was discovered and signed by producer Pepe Willie. Charloff eventually met Prince when he was in a band with the rock star's first cousin. In 2011, The Minneapolis native created The Purple Xperience with Matt "Doctor" Fink, Prince's original keyboard player.
In 2019, Marshall Charloff & the Purple Xperience were licensed by the Prince Estate. Today, they are the top Prince tribute in the world, performing every note 100% LIVE.
