Therapeutic Yoga Workshops with Tam from Yogaphysio

Tamara James, founder of Yogaphysio Brisbane for two workshops in January. Tam has been a qualified and registered physiotherapist since 1994 and teaching yoga since 1998. She will offer two practice-based workshops focused on the biomechanics and healing therapy of the hips and lower limb and the shoulders.

You will learn how to approach poses that are most helpful for your body, based upon a deep understanding of anatomy and biomechanics of the area. The workshops will be largely practical and involve working together in small groups to observe and learn the landmarks of the body.

These workshops provide understanding and insight for yoga practitioners and teachers. Yoga teachers will deepen their understanding of how best to cater for their students needs. Many people attending yoga classes are there to manage injuries or limitations. This is an opportunity for teachers to increase their confidence and repetoire of practices to support their students.

Cost: $80 for one workshop or $150 for both
