Healthy Pets for All is a community outreach program that helps keep pets with their owners and protects pets in the community by providing vaccinations, microchips, and donated supplies to pet owners in Santa Cruz County who are financially struggling.
At Healthy Pets for All clinics, Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) provide rabies and other core vaccinations, microchips, and parasite control (if available) for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens. This helps to prevent the spread of disease and ensures owners can comply with local laws regarding pet ownership.
Volunteers and donations are key to the success of Healthy Pets for All! Volunteers assist with event coordination and safety, form completion, vaccine preparation, and providing pet care information and resources, including donated pet food, leashes, collars/ harnesses, and toys/ treats.
Healthy Pets for All clinics are free for all Santa Cruz County pet owners who qualify for other forms of public assistance.
