We’ll cover essential materials, techniques, and tips for successful rubbings, followed by an opportunity to practice the method using provided surfaces or materials you bring from home. We’ll also discuss the ethics and legality of gravestone rubbing, including how to identify suitable stones, obtain permissions and preserve delicate historic markers with care and respect.

Ages 18 &amp; up. Attendees are welcome to bring paper, crayons and rubbing surface but there will be some materials provided.

In conjunction with Jennifer Keene's Artist Exhibit in the Oconee County Library.
