Bird Watching 101

Join Hard Labor Creek Park Ranger, Auggie Smith, as he teaches us basic birding etiquette as well as some of the birds and bird calls that you might encounter right here in your back yard. This program is intended for ages 8+ and is the perfect program to learn some birding basics before the Great Backyard Bird Count (Feb. 13th-16th), a Global event that all levels of birders are encouraged to participate in.



Join us afterward to make your own bird house out of recycled yard signs! All materials provided. Yard signs provided by Keep Oconee County Beautiful Commission.
