Join Brookes Paranormal this spooky September for a Ghost Hunt at Wath Town Hall in South Yorkshire, a new venue for us with paranormal activity experienced by some of the team on a private investigation earlier this year. Now we invite you to join us for a paranormal investigation at this interesting location.

Wath Town Hall is a Grade II listed Georgian mansion built in 1770 in Wath-upon-Dearne, South Yorkshire, boasting a rich history spanning back to the Norman Conquest. The land was home to a 14th century moated manor owned by the Fleming family, whose lineage includes the founder of Kirklees Priory, Robin Hood’s legendary burial site. It later passed to the Savile family, who resided on the site until after the English Civil War, leading to its eventual demolition to make way for the building we see today. Wath Town Hall is a major paranormal hotspot, with its most intense activity centered in the subterranean cellars; remnants of the old medieval structure. Investigators report dark shadow figures and disembodied voices down there, while the upper floors experience phantom footsteps pacing the empty rooms and corridors, cold spots, and intelligent responses on equipment from occupying spirits. Join us as we investigate this unique haunted location using a variety of different paranormal equipment, such as EMF Meters, REM Pods, Spirit Boxes and Detectors, plus our own senses as we attempt to find out what spirits still roam this site. We will be using methods like Victorian Table Tipping, Glass Divination and the Estes Method, as well as utilising other equipment and techniques throughout the night in an attempt to communicate with the spirits of Wath Town Hall.
