- **Event Description**: This special event history talk on Saturday, February 28th, will showcase the exhibition which has just opened at Redington Museum. A short story of each new exhibit will be given to tie in with the historic sign project in downtown Waterville. These museum exhibits will evolve as they are to be community-curated. You get to add to their stories and the displays! "Hands That Built, and Continue to Build, Waterville": C.F. Hathaway Shirt Factory, Keyes Fibre Company, Hollingsworth &amp; Whitney, Lockwood Cotton Mills, Ticonic Footbridge, (Riverview) Wyandotte Worsted Mill, Maine Central Railroad, and more! For those who choose not to climb the stairs for the exhibits after the talk, we will have a virtual tour of the upstairs available on the presentation screen. We are thrilled to share these new exhibits!
 
On Saturday, February 28, the door opens at 2:00 p.m. for light refreshments and social time. At 2:30 the talk will begin, lasting approximately one hour. Admission is free. Donations are happily accepted; we do not receive federal, state, or city funding. This museum is powered by you❤️
