Pet Portraits in Clay

March 11th & 25th

Capture the personality of your furry (or scaly!) best friend in clay! In this hands-on workshop, you will create a custom 10x10" ceramic wall hanging dedicated to your pet.

We’ll start by creating a slab foundation and framing it with a custom border—feel free to add your pet’s name, paw prints, or fun textures using our studio stamps and rollers. Then, the fun begins! Using a "puzzle-piece" layering technique, you will build a low-relief portrait of your pet. We will use templates to help you cut shapes and assemble them to capture your pet’s likeness, then add sculpted details to bring them to life.

If time permits, you can add background elements like their favorite toy, a landscape, or cozy patterns. No previous sculpting experience is needed—just bring your love for your pet!
