The master of dark fairy tales and prosthetic creatures, Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth, The Shape of Water) has set his sights on one of history's most classic and enduring works of monster fiction. Against all natural laws of the world, the brilliant scientist Victor Frankenstein (Oscar Isaac, Dune) creates life from death in the form of a monstrous creature (Jacob Elordi, Priscilla) patched together from several deceased bodies. However, the experiment will ultimately lead to the undoing of Victor and his tragic creature in this staggeringly beautiful and haunting reimagining of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
