- **Event Description**: Come experience the excitement of the Raku firing process during one of our Community Raku Firing Workshops!

Jeffrey Lipton, our Clay Studio Coordinator, will run these one-day events for experienced clay artists of all levels. It's a fun way to come together, learn, and share in a collaborative outdoor firing experience. Participants should bring 3–5 bisque-fired pieces about the size of a coffee mug, or 2 medium-sized forms to glaze before the firing begins.

Please note: Raku-fired ceramics are not food safe and are not watertight.

Please note the May 2 workshop is in conjunction with the Maine Pottery Tour.

Age: Adults 18+
Cost: $46
This event is eligible for the Youth Arts Access Fund.
