Summer is nearing, and it's time to get out and gather together!
The Waterville (district) Community is invited to an evening for just that. No strings attached. No frills either. Just the pure and simple goodness of gathering!
More details will continue to be added as they are confirmed, but plan on dinner without worrying about a dime, lots of saying hello, places to get creative, enjoying live music with local talent, stargazing and savoring a summer evening.
5:30 - 7 pm: Sign in for Dinner! Located behind the Waterville Historical Society. A grilled menu with picnic table seating outdoors to enjoy live music with Austin Florenz. A reserved section will also be available inside the Historical Society with full chairs, a quieter dining environment, and community members happy to assist with carrying plates, etc. The Historical Society has an elevator available at the rear entrance.
5:30 - 7:30 pm: Touch a Truck. Located between Village Hall and the Library.
7-9 pm: Relax on the Library Lawns with live music by Bob Belouin and Nancy Kenyon, lawn games & activities, plenty of space for kids to run around, and the rest of us to spread out and spend a night just being. Plus an Open House of the Barton-Brown Observatory and stargazing at dark with the Mohawk Valley Astronomical Society (weather permitting)
Plus, enjoy Community Art Projects!
Chalk the Walk: happening between Village Hall and the Library
Community Mural Tiles: Paint one alone, as a family, or with friends (paint pens, with smocks available).
