- **Event Description**: Please join us for the 2026 Turkey DASH 5K and 2 Mile Walk on Thanksgiving Day morning, November 26th!  The Turkey DASH has grown into a great family tradition in Watertown.  Gather your family and friends and get active before you sit down and enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner.  Celebrate everything you have to be thankful for!

There will be an awards ceremony as quickly as possible after the event so everyone can get home and enjoy their Thanksgiving feast.  We will have door prizes that we will draw for after registration closes on November 25th and those prizes will be handed out at packet pick up.  YOU MUST BE PRESENT to win the door prizes and awards! 

We will be serving pumpkin pie, hot apple cider and hot chocolate after the race! 

The 5K and Walk will start and finish at Great Plains Lutheran High School. 

Packet pick up will open at 9:00 AM and 5K and Walk will start at 10:00 AM. 

If you want to receive a long sleeve shirt on race day, register before we place our shirt order or you risk the chance of not getting one in your size or not getting a shirt at all.  We order extras but only limited amounts and sizes. 

$20 per person (13-Over) 
$5 per child (3-12) 
Kids (2-under) are FREE, NO registration is needed, and NO shirt will be received. 

Registration closes at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, 11/25/26!  
NO REGISTRATIONS ALLOWED the morning of the event so don't miss the deadline if you plan on participating.  

If you prefer to not register online, you can stop by the Watertown Police Department and grab a registration form in the lobby.

This event is hosted by the DASH Program at the Watertown Police Department.  We would like to say Thank You to Great Plains Lutheran High School for partnering with us and providing a warm location for us to gather.
