A Columbia University graduate, he has performed internationally at venues including Lincoln Center and Town Hall, and recorded with major labels such as RCA and Verve. Known for pioneering early world music fusion, he blends Armenian traditions with jazz, rock, and folk, while remaining a dedicated mentor and community leader.Antranig Kzirian is a leading contemporary oud artist known for his genre-crossing approach, blending rock, jazz, classical, and folk influences. A student of masters including John Berberian, he has collaborated with artists such as Serj Tankian and performs internationally.
