This program is part of the Loving Our Country project – a statewide person-to-person listening initiative by John Brown Lives! that gathers stories about civic life, belonging, and lived experiences across New York.

You’ll take part in a short one-on-one listening session where we ask four questions about your experiences. You will receive detailed directions and location information by email once you register. Each session takes approximately 30 minutes. Scan the QR code or visit the website to register. Registration is required.

With your permission, we will record the audio of our conversation. Photography may occur at the event. You will review and sign a short consent form indicating your preference when you arrive.

All ages and abilities are welcome. Sessions are available in English, Mandarin, and Spanish.
