- **Event Description**: Zumba is coming to The Om Center this October! Join Doree for a fun and welcoming Intro to Zumba Workshop designed to introduce you to the music, rhythms and basic steps you’ll experience in class.

Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness class that combines movement and music for an upbeat, energizing workout. During this workshop, we’ll explore five popular Latin rhythms used in Zumba — Bachata, Cumbia, Merengue, Reggaeton and Salsa. You’ll learn a little about each musical style, practice some basic steps, and then put them together in easy-to-follow Zumba routines.

This is the perfect opportunity to try Zumba, learn the basics and get comfortable with the movements before our regular weekly class begins in October.

No dance or Zumba experience necessary. Come as you are, move at your own pace and have fun!
