Friday, November 27
Celebrate the start of the holiday season at Watertown's annual Santa's Light Parade! Hosted by the Watertown Parks & Recreation Department and the Watertown Fire Department, this beloved community tradition transforms Main Street into a magical Winter Wonderland filled with illuminated floats, holiday music, and festive cheer.
The parade features community groups, schools, businesses, performers, civic organizations, and families, all encouraged to incorporate lights into their displays while celebrating this year's Winter Wonderland theme. The parade concludes with Santa Claus making his grand arrival aboard the Big Red Fire Engine.
Following the parade, continue the celebration at the Gazebo with the Town Tree Lighting, complimentary hot cocoa and dessert courtesy of the Watertown Fire Department, children's activities, holiday entertainment, and the opportunity to create an ornament for the official Town Christmas Tree. Santa Claus will also be available to visit with children and families.
Residents and businesses along the parade route are encouraged to decorate with white lights to help create a festive Winter Wonderland throughout downtown Watertown.
