Course Description: This intense 2-day firearms training course focuses on development of advanced gun-handling skills and tactical speed shooting concepts that are necessary to increase speed in presentation, reloading, target acquisition and manipulation of the semi-automatic pistol. This course will address balancing speed and accuracy while operating the semi-automatic pistol in a tactical capacity. Students will be challenged throughout this firearms training course with a variety of reactive steel targets and courses of fire. Stress will be induced throughout the course by use of; dynamic movement drills, man vs. man shoot-offs, heart-rate elevation drills and multi-tasking drills. Extensive repetitions will concentrate on developing skills using multi-shot rhythm drills during single and multi-target engagements. This is a fast paced, physically demanding firearms training course! Students should be in good physical condition, familiar with their equipment and have solid intermediate to advanced gun-handling skills established prior to attending this firearms training course. This is an excellent skill building course for students seeking to enhance their IDPA or IPSC skill-set and rating.
