- **Event Description**: As the cold draws in and the evenings grow darker, I start to slow in whatever ways I can and welcome in the practice of Wintering.

Life isn’t a constant summer of growth or harvest. We all go through natural cycles — times of growth, times of waiting, and times of loss. Wintering invites us to embrace those quiet or difficult seasons, rather than seeing them as failures or interruptions. It can be a mindful, deliberate act of stepping back from the busyness and pressures of life to honour a personal season of stillness, healing, and restoration.

Join us as we weave our wisdom about the wintering way!

The Wisdom of Women (WOW) Sisterhood Circles offer a supportive space for women to come as they are and leave a little more of who they are.

When we gather to share our stories, we weave together our lives, finding peace in our similarities and wisdom in our differences. We find solidarity in knowing we are not alone and form bonds with each other through our shared human experiences. Circles are a space for us to connect to ourselves, each other and the world around us, instilling a heart-felt sense of belonging and community.

Each circle will follow a familiar arch of a welcome ritual, check in, oracle/ affirmation card pull, sharing rounds and a final check. We may also weave in some creative activities, journaling, meditation, mindful exercises and gentle movement as well as exploring themes such as Intuition, Gratitude, Empowerment and Sisterhood. The essence of each circle will be unique, ebbing and flowing with the energy of those who attend and as a facilitator I always endeavour to be responsive to the needs of the circle.
Attendees are requested to honour confidentiality and empathy and I encourage an ethos of non-judgement so that women can feel brave enough to speak whatever is present for them in that moment without fear of judgement. We practice stepping forward when it is time for us to take up space and stepping back when it is time to reciprocate the space holding for others!

This Circle runs on the 4th Tuesday of the month evening in Waterlooville.
