Step into Dance at our “Ceroc Beginner Welcome” event at Horndean Tech College
If you’ve been thinking about trying Ceroc, this is the perfect night to start. Our Beginner Welcome Evening is designed especially for first-time dancers – no partner, no experience, no worries.
7:15pm -Arrivals
7:30pm Pre-Class Welcome Chat
Join us for a relaxed welcome chat before the class begins. We’ll introduce you to the crew, explain how the evening works, and make sure you feel confident and ready to dance.
*What to Expect*
Ceroc is a fun, sociable partner dance that’s easy to learn and perfect for all ages. You don’t need any dance experience or a partner – just comfortable shoes and a willingness to give it a go.
*How the Night Runs*
· Welcome Chat: Meet your teacher and crew, ask questions, and settle in.
· Beginner Class: Learn a few simple moves and how to dance them with different partners.
· Freestyle Dancing: After the class, enjoy music and practise your new moves at your own pace.
· Second Session: We run a relaxed second beginner session later in the evening so you can really practice what you've just learned in a beginner friendly session
*Reassurance and Encouragement*
Everyone in the room was new once and we remember exactly how that felt. You’ll be guided through every step in a friendly, no-pressure environment. We rotate partners throughout the class, so you’ll meet lots of welcoming faces and there’s always someone nearby to help if you need it.
