Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors - Ravenwood Specialty Care Education Series

Join us on the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Care Initiatives | Ravenwood Specialty Care in Waterloo to learn about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia and how to increase your confidence as an Alzheimer’s caregiver. This series will offer helpful ways to approach the responsibilities of caring for someone living with dementia using a person-centered approach while also reducing your own physical and mental stress. Anyone is welcome to join whether you’re a caregiver to a family member or friend, professional caregiver or someone interested in learning more about the disease.

Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors | Mar. 4 | 6-7:30 p.m. -
This class details common behavior changes and how they are a form of communication, non-medical approaches to behaviors and recognizing when additional help is needed.
