Emerging technologies are reshaping how people express themselves and access information, but they are also being used by governments and institutions in ways that restrict fundamental freedoms. Ensuring that innovation aligns with human rights principles is essential to building a digital future that protects privacy, equality, and justice for all. Panelists will also discuss the intersection of migration and how new technology shapes migrants’ mobility and resistance strategies.
