It is danced to a huge range of music including funk, pop, RnB, hip hop, swing, blues, rock... and more!Do I need a partner?No partners necessary!WCS is a partner dance but we will be switching partners during the class so you'll get a chance to dance with everyone. (If you are not comfortable with switching partners and want to dance with just the person you came with, that's totally fine too!)In fact, as long as you are comfortable with it, we highly encourage dancing with lots of different people because it helps you develop your own abilities to lead/follow.What do I need to bring?Indoor shoes! (Not outdoor shoes will be allowed in the studio.) Dance shoes, clean sneakers, and sock feet are fine.Water bottle.Deodorant/change of shirt. If you are sick at an event (sniffling/coughing) you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund.REFUND POLICYClass passes and workshops will not be refunded except under extreme circumstances, but can be transferred to the next class block if necessary (must be requested), or to another person of the same role (leader/follower).MISSED CLASSESIf you miss a class, you can make it up by attending another same level class within that week (note curriculums will be different).DROP-INSDrop-ins are only allowed consecutively and from the first class. Otherwise, purchasing a full class block is required. Drop-in price is $28+HST for class block classes. Passes are non-transferable and cannot be used by other dancers.WAIVER & MEDIA RELEASEYou will be asked to sign a Waiver and Media Release (photos and videos taken during the even may be used in promotional materials or posted on social media).
