Waterford City, Ireland – The Friends of the River Suir are delighted to invite the public to their 6th Annual Summer Solstice Celebration, taking place on Friday, 19th June, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at William Vincent Wallace Plaza, Waterford Quays.

This free, family-friendly community event celebrates the River Suir and the many organisations, clubs, and volunteers who engage with, protect, and enjoy this vital natural resource. The annual gathering has become a popular fixture on Waterford's summer calendar, bringing together people of all ages to mark the longest days of the year in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

Visitors can enjoy an evening of live music, community displays, and opportunities to meet local groups involved in river recreation, conservation, heritage, education, and environmental stewardship.
