Shaun has practised at the Irish Bar since 2006 with a strong emphasis on commercial and chancery work (including contract, company, debt, property and employment law) as well as more general areas including personal injuries. He has acted for private clients and institutions, as well as NERA (the National Employment Rights Authority) and the State Claims Agency. Prior to commencing practice, Shaun Worked for Arthur Cox solicitors and the Royal Irish Academy. He completed his undergraduate degree in History & Politics at UCD prior to reading for a Masters in International Relations at the University of Cambridge and completing his studies at the King’s Inns.
Marie Murphy is the co-founder and operations director at Fort Privacy. A Data Protection operations expert with a special interest in “Privacy by Design”, Marie has delivered projects at every stage of the project lifecycle. Marie is an engineer with formal training in business process modelling and data protection law.
Her background is in the communications and manufacturing sectors working for international corporations in Europe, Asia and North America. Marie brings her experience of international corporate culture and of delivering complex and diverse communications projects that spanned continents to data protection operations.
Marie lectures in Privacy by Design and Records and Policy Management as part of the Irish Computer Society European Certified Data Protection Officer training program.
