Waterford's Business Woman of the Year Awards will be celebrated over lunch in the vestibule of Theatre Royal Waterford at 12.30 on the 25th of May. We will be joined in this beautiful venue by Jemma Kehoe who will give us all some 'Nutrition Hacks for Success'.
Jemma studied Nutritional Therapy at the Institute of Health Sciences where she graduated with distinction in 2010. Previous to this, Jemma qualified as a Ph*rm*cy technician with Trinity College Dublin and worked in the community Ph*rm*cy setting for over 10 years. Wanting to learn more, she is currently a Masters of Science Degree student, studying Advanced Nutrition. Jemma works on the basis that optimum health is a 360-degree picture, of which a healthy diet is a significant part but must also take into account emotional health, genetics and environmental factors.
As well as having a busy clinic, Jemma also lectures part-time for the Institute of Health Sciences and supervise student’s clinical practice. She can regularly be heard on local radio station WLRfm where she has a fortnightly health slot delivering the latest scientific and nutrition-related research plus valuable advice to listeners queries on numerous health and nutrition-related topics.
During Jemma's 30-minute presentation, you will learn some strategies for harnessing the power of food to help you stay sharp and focused. You will also learn:
how food can influence energy and sleep patterns, hormone balance and so much more that directly affects our productivity.
Walk away knowing 2 x important strategies to keep your mind alert and your body supported to help you do all of those amazing things that you know you would love to do.
All of this delivered in a practical and no-nonsense approach.
