▪️ Qualification standards and entry requirements for athletes to enter have been updated for 2025 : Found on the website.
▪️ We will be applying a degree of flexibility to the new qualification standards for this year’s competition. If an athlete’s achieved total in a relevant competition is within 10% of the updated standard for their specific category (age group and gender), they will be considered eligible to compete.
▪️ Qualification Period: August 1st, 2024, – July 1st, 2025.
▪️This decision is intended to accommodate the immediate impact of the new calculations, which differ significantly from previous years, while still ensuring broad representation from across our weightlifting community.
▪️ Only Irish Passport holders will be eligible to compete at this years Irish National Age-Grade Championships.
▪️ Sport Ireland Anti-Doping may be present for in-competition testing at this event.

Saturday, 12th
- NAGC : Group 1 / (Female)
- National Maters : Group 2 / (Female)
- NAGC : Group 3 / (Male)
- National Masters Group 4 / (Male)
Sunday, 13th
- NAGC : Group 5 / (Female)
- National Masters : Group 6 / (Female)
- NAGC : Group 7 / (Male)
- National Masters : Group 8 / (Male)

📌Coaches must be a registered Level 1 Coach and a member of Weightlifting Ireland (WI).
📌Coaches must have completed Safeguarding L1 training within the past three (3) years.
📌Coaches must be Garda Vetted by Weightlifting Ireland (WI) within the past three (3) years.
⚠️These are minimum requirements to gain access to the field of play/warm up area.
