America's Bicentennial (1970 through 1976) was time when our nation was healing from past events and facing the economic challenges of gas-lines and inflation.  But the period was also a time dedicated to remembering our roots with joy and celebration.  Dick Arthur, a participant in several events from that period, will give an historical and personal account of that time, he says, shaped his interest in history. 

This FLBHS America250 event is free & open to the public.
