We are delighted to welcome acclaimed jazz pianist and educator Dave Frank to SETU for a special live concert on Monday 23rd February at 7pm. The concert will be followed by a post-concert Q&A with the artist, offering audiences an opportunity to engage directly with Dave about his music, teaching, and career.
Dave Frank is a highly respected figure in jazz education, known internationally for his work as a pianist, teacher, and author. A former faculty member at Berklee College of Music, he studied with Lennie Tristano and has spent decades developing a distinctive and rigorous approach to jazz improvisation, harmony, and rhythm. His teaching has influenced generations of musicians, and his educational work continues to reach a global audience through workshops, publications — including the acclaimed The Joy of Improv — and online courses.
The concert will take place in The Chapel (College Street Campus) and will be accompanied by Dave’s visit to the college, where he will be working directly with SETU students through workshops and tutorials.
