Please join us for our first annual fishing tournament to benefit the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Theraputics.
This will be a biggest fish tournament (by weight) with prizes for multiple species for both shore and boat fishermen.
Gates to the park and boat launch will be opening at 6am on June the 16th 2018 specifically for the tournament. This will be a half day tournament beginning promptly at 6:30am and weigh in will be at 1pm.
Buy in will be $25 per person and all money will go to funding for a cure for Angelman Syndrome.
Updates on prizes will be posted closer to the tournament date.
As this is a state park, a recreational passport sticker on your license plate or park pass will be required.
A DNR representative will be at the event, so be sure to have the appropriate licenses and equipment if you plan to bring a watercraft.
Michigan fishing licenses are available here—> http://www.mdnr-elicense.com/Welcome/Default.aspx
Catch and release is suggested however is not mandatory, but remember, a live fish weighs more!
