100 Years on: Women Creating Change
This year, we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of women winning the right to vote in Ireland. When we look back to that time, we learn that many of those who participated in Ireland's revolution, were artists, poets and writers who used their creativity to challege the status quo and create change.
2018 is no different, we have evolved, but we are still using the power of creativity to create waves in society.
Join Melanie Lynch, founder of Herstory, Donna Gilligan, Irish museum archaeologist & material culture historian and Amy de Bhrun, actor, writer and activist in conversation with Irish Times journalist Jennifer O'Connell, as they discuss stories of creative women 100 years ago, who fought for change through creative thinking.
