There are so many good sourdough recipes to be made out there, and this pizza dough recipe is one of them!

Come join Jaxon and Aurora as we measure and mix ingredients with active sourdough starter to create and knead a pizza dough. As our dough rises for 20 minutes we will do a mini-lesson on the science behind the magic of sourdough and baking, and then we will roll out our dough and start adding ingredients!

Students will have access to a range of fresh ingredients to choose from and cut up, from pepperoni and Canadian bacon to bell peppers, onions, and pineapple! And of course, plenty of cheeeeeese!

Location: Menard Center Commercial Kitchen in Wasilla

Date: There are 2 sessions! Sunday, April 12th 11am-1pm OR Monday, April 27th 11am-1pm

Cost: $95 - We are a DIRECT BILL vendor for Matsu Central, IDEA, Twindly Bridge, Raven, Cyberlynx and FOCUS.

This class involves Science, Math, and Life Skills.

• What will I learn?

o Students will learn how to properly measure and mix 
ingredients and how to safely cut ingredients for toppings

o Students will learn the science behind active sourdough, as well as the ingredients in the dough


• What will I take home?

o Students take home their 12 inch pizza to eat and enjoy!

o Take home the 12 inch Wilton pizza pan (great for cookie cakes too), detailed instructions, and sourdough starter so they can make pizzas again at home!
