Looking for something hands-on to do over Spring Break? Join Alaska Works Partnership for a FREE Youth Carpentry Training in Wasilla!
This weeklong training is a great opportunity for youth to build real skills, learn tool safety, and complete projects you can take home, all while exploring careers in the construction trades.

Youth Trainings β Minimum Qualifications:
Spring Break training is available to any high school age students.
π¨ Key Training Topics Include:

Carpentry & Trades Math Basics (hands-on practice)
β
Measuring & Layout Skills (including the 3-4-5 method for squaring)
β
Tool Use & Safety (practice with common hand + power tools)
β
Build Real Projects (create a footstool and a coffee table)
β
Jobsite Readiness (construction safety basics + what to expect on the job)
