A Community Gathering for Recovery, Remembrance & Resilience
Join us for the 5th Annual Float for Hope, a powerful, community-driven event in the Mat-Su Borough dedicated to fostering hope, celebrating recovery, and honoring those we’ve lost to addiction.
Founded by individuals in long-term recovery, Float for Hope is a volunteer-led event that brings together families, friends, agencies, and community members in a visible display of unity and healing.
Last year, over 500 people joined us, with 100+ participants floating together in a powerful mass float and more than 20 agencies providing resources and support.
At the center of our float is a tube with angel wings, symbolizing:
• Those still struggling
• Those we have lost
This meaningful visual reminds us that no one fights alone.
In addition to the float, the event includes:
🍔 Food
🎤 Testimonies of hope and recovery
🎯 Family-friendly games
🤝 Resource booths from local agencies
🚑 Water rescue teams on-site for safety
Our vision is to continue filling the lake with hope each year, expanding our reach while keeping recovery, healing, unity, and hope at the heart of everything we do.
Bring your tube. Bring your family. Bring your hope. Come make memories that will last a lifetime.
