Fifty years ago, a group of neighbors and friends came together with a simple goal: to preserve the stories, skills, and traditions of days gone by. What began as a gathering to share old machinery, home cooking, and good company has blossomed into a cherished tradition that has touched generations. In 2026, we invite you to be part of this milestone year as we celebrate half a century of heritage, history, and heart.

What to Expect This Year:
Our festival is a place where the past comes alive and families make new memories side by side. As you wander the grounds, you’ll be surrounded by sights, sounds, and experiences that reflect the spirit of community and the resourcefulness of those who came before us.

 Festival Highlights Include:

- Hands-on heritage demonstrations: blacksmiths at the forge, quilters racing treadle machines, woodworkers shaping by hand, and homemakers sharing timeless skills
-Live music and entertainment filling the air with joy and togetherness
-Homemade meals and festival favorites – from hearty classics to sweet treats
-Quilt & textile displays showcasing stitches of creativity and love
-Antique tractors, engines, and machinery – lovingly restored and proudly displayed
-Farm animals and children’s activities – from bottle feeding goats to games that make little ones giggle
-Craft and vendor fair – brimming with handmade goods, local artistry, and unique treasures you’ll want to take home
-Contests, races, and good-natured competition that bring smiles to all ages
-Antique Tractor Pull- showing that old machinery still has all of the original muscle and power today
-The Dale Nafe Memorial Car Show- a great show honoring a pillar of the Grand Meadow tradition! All cars are welcome!
-Plant & Arrangement Show- bringing the creativity with flowers and plants to light! 
-Produce & Canned Goods Show- bringing the gardening and preservation skills to share with the public!
-Photography Show-to broaden the horizon of great memories frozen in time.
-50 Years of Memories Wall – a special space where stories, photos, and moments from past festivals will be shared and celebrated
