Don't wait, reserve your spot today!ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR — RASHIDA EDMONDSONRashida is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (500 RYT), Yoga for All certified instructor, Reiki II Healer, and Level 1 Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher, and she has been practicing yoga since adolescence.A lawyer, social justice advocate, animal lover, and mom, Rashida's journey to teaching was born out of her own experience using yoga as a source of grounding, resilience, and healing, including during her recovery from a mastectomy and reconstruction. That experience deepened her commitment to a body-affirming, adaptive practice, one rooted in the belief that asana should fit the person, not the other way around.Rashida created this series with a specific purpose: to offer members of her community, particularly those who have not always found a home in mainstream, Westernized yoga spaces, a place where they belong.
