YJAM 2018: A Decade of Fighting For Justice
The Jr. Board of Directors' for the Campaign for Youth Justice invites you to a happy hour celebrating October as Youth Justice Action Month (YJAM). YJAM is in it's 10th year and has grown exponentially. Youth, families, students and advocates throughout the country have made YJAM what it is today – a movement to end the prosecution of youth in the adult system. With the number of youth in adult court dropping, there is much to celebrate, but we still have a lot of work to do to ensure justice prevails. Please join us and bring your friends on October 18 at 6:00 p.m. at Hawthorne. The suggested minimum donation at the door is $10, which will include a wristband for food and drink specials. Also feel free to give through our donation page here. Additionally,we will recognize our "Mothers of the Movement", for their continued commitment to the fight for youth justice. The evening will also include artwork from acclaimed photographer Richard Ross, and light hors d'oeuvres. We hope to see you there!
