Join us for another discussion with Bob Cicero from Globe Poster Printing, a family business whose colorful promotional posters were used to promote go-go and every form of music on the planet. Discover the fascinating stories behind the iconic, colorful posters that promoted everything from Black Broadway to go-go music across the region.
Learn how these vibrant works of art once filled Pepco poles and trees throughout the city—until changes in the law brought the practice to a close. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to view and celebrate these rare historic posters! Globe Posters will be available for purchase at the event.
Time: Saturday, December 13, 4:00–6:00 p.m.
