The New Mobility Paradigm: A Conversation with APTA's Paul Skoutelas
Please join WTS-DC and the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) for an exciting opportunity to participate in a conversation with Paul Skoutelas, President and CEO of APTA, about the role of transit in the new mobility paradigm!
With technology, entrepreneurship and changing customer expectations disrupting traditional models of mobility, this is a critical time to hear from a leading figure in the industry about how public transportation systems are helping lead change through service innovations such as transit route redesign, TNC partnerships, microtransit, automated transit shuttles, and integrated payment platforms. In these and other ways, transit agencies are stepping-up as the backbone of an integrated mobility ecosystem. The discussion with Paul will focus on ways public transit agencies are poised to perform the role of regional mobility managers and help integrate the full array of local mobility services into an efficient, coordinated system to provide an enhanced level of mobility and prosperity in our communities.
