We can't wait to celebrate you at our one of a kind event for youth with disabilities! Special thank you to the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy for donating their venue in-kind to us again this year.Throughout the year, we hold adaptive clinics for our special needs children--anything from waterskiing to football. The So Kids SOAR Holiday Celebration is not only a fun event for our volunteers, participants, and their families; moreover, a way for our youth with disabilities to give back to the less fortunate. At the holiday event, we will provide all guests with activities, such as wrapping presents for homeless children, stuffing Kong balls for animal shelters, etc. Each one of our youth participants will receive a gift bag as they leave, a thank you for helping us give back, and also to show them that their disability cannot hold them back from performing their own philanthropy.Who: This event is open to volunteers, parents/guardians, and youth with a disability of any typeWe need 2-3 volunteers with cars to assist with dropping off gifts after the event!
