Set in the 1920’s, “Side by Side” is a story of struggle and triumph. When the people of Washington worry they are losing their youth, Arthur Paxman and Calvin Hall determine a gymnasium is just the thing to bring them back. But constructing a building for recreation when most residents are barely scraping a living from the red dirt is almost impossible.
