- **Event Description**: A hands-on DJ workshop in Washington, D.C. for youth up to teensAbout this EventWhether your just a music fan or have dreams of rocking crowds, this experience is for you.What to Expect:The experience will be a 2 class introduction to DJ mixing with a veteran instructor from the DMV area.Get hands on training to learn basic techniqe and beat match songs togetherLearn some hip-hop historyBuild your skills by starting with a laptop & DJ controller to mixing vinyl starting with this series.The entire experience will be about 1.5 hours long per class with each of the classes happening across 2 consecutive weekends.FOR YOUTH ONLYGuests ages 8 to 17 years of age can attendup to 20 guests per classThis is a group activity, not a private lesson. Enter in the parking lot on the 16th St NW side of the church and enter at the side door. You will need to contact the staff number provided in your order confirmation to be let in the building.Parking:There is free street parking on Newton and Meridian Streets NW. Please read the signs to make sure you are in compliance with the neighborhood regulations. Please do not park in the church lot, all spaces are reserved.Online ticket purchase required, no onsite registration not available.All sessions will begin and end on time.
