After beginning her research career at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, she joined the Immunology Service at the NIH Clinical Center. Her work investigates pathways shared by immune function and brain development, including inborn errors of immunity and DNA-damage responses.Nicholas P. Tschernia, MD, is a physician-scientist and Early Investigator in the Center for Immuno-Oncology at the National Cancer Institute’s Center for Cancer Research.
