From Bond to Hollywood legends! I have the great advantage of being able to see and experience my life multiple times—through my eyes, my camera, my books, exhibitions, and photos. James Bond alias Sir Roger Moore discovered me and once said that my Leica is my paintbrush and that I paint with it. He introduced me to the world of Hollywood, to legends like Tony Curtis or Kirk Douglas.

Photography is my calling; I love the diverse worlds it encompasses. That's why I enjoy photographing wild horses or buffalos for National Geographic just as much as observing people on the street. I continually immerse myself in different worlds with my muse and wife! Photography and storytelling are my calling! - Baumann

ABOUT

Manfred Baumann (born 1968) is an Austrian photographer. The Leica photographer has since presented his works worldwide in the form of exhibitions, books, and calendars. His photographs are displayed in museums as well as in international galleries. Over the past years, Baumann has taken his place among the most influential photographers of our time.

From 2002, Baumann has photographed celebrities. The first international star was James Bond actor, Sir Roger Moore. The list of Hollywood stars who have been in front of his lens is very long. He also had the official last photoshoot with Hollywood legend Tony Curtis, photographed Kirk Douglas at 103, as well as Olivia Newton John, among many others.
