Kettle Creek Author's Forum

The Washington-Wilkes 250th Committee will host The Battle of Kettle Creek Author’s Forum on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Pope Center in Washington, Georgia. This special event will feature noted historians and authors Dan Elliott, Robert Scott Davis, Dr. David Noble, Dan Bigman, and Carolyn Faz, each offering their unique perspectives and research on the pivotal Revolutionary War battle fought at Kettle Creek. Attendees will gain insight into new interpretations, archaeological discoveries, and historical debates surrounding one of Georgia’s most significant Revolutionary War victories. A Q&A session will follow the presentations, giving the audience an opportunity to engage directly with the authors and deepen their understanding of this important chapter in American history.
