Intro to Macraweave w/ Lisa Nho

Learn to combine basic techniques in macrame and weaving to create a statement tapestry piece for your home. We will use macrame cords and bits of fabric to create small to large-scale wall hangings. Exercise your hands-on skills after that long day of staring at the laptop and come to a safe soothing space to calm your anxieties and flex your creative muscles.

My name is Lisa Nho. I am a fiber artist based out of Rockville, Maryland. I first started learning the art of macrame and weaving to get out of the tired rut of my desk job. Learning macrame and weaving was a wonderful way to unwind and let out my creative energies that were so stunted from working in front of a laptop all day. If you want to get away momentarily from your day-to-day and want to find a safe soothing space, let's get together, share stories, craft and create beautiful pieces of art just to enjoy ourselves!
