About the event

INT26- Antoine Lee
Clocked In is a stylized musical comedy that takes a hilariously offbeat look at the daily grind of American work culture. With live music, sharp wit, and plenty of heart, the show offers a biting yet cathartic satire of the absurdities of modern employment—from corporate jargon and performance reviews to the ever-elusive concept of work-life balance.

“My name is Antoine, and I’ve been in the American workforce for 18 years,” the host begins. “I’ve paid enough taxes to feel entitled to some strong opinions on the matter.” From there, audiences are ushered into a tongue-in-cheek “training session” designed to help them navigate the ultimate job: being alive in a capitalist society. Drawing from his experiences working in offices, factories, and schools, Antoine guides audiences through a series of training “modules” covering essential workplace skills such as believing in yourself, decision-making, performance reviews, and emotion management. Of course, as this is satire, the advice is not just questionable—it’s outrageously bad, and all the funnier for it.

Each module is punctuated by cleverly reimagined songs from American pop and musical theatre, featuring original arrangements and fresh comedic lyrics that will have audiences laughing until they cry. Familiar tunes get delightfully twisted into workplace anthems, bringing new life (and absurdity) to classics everyone knows and loves.

Short, sharp, and full of surprises, Clocked In is a comedy special for anyone who’s ever filled out a timecard, sat through a staff meeting, or dreamed of quitting it all. With lively music, quick wit, and a healthy dose of satire, it’s the perfect night out for friends, dates, and anyone who’s ever had a job—and lived to tell the tale.
