- **Event Description**: The Friends of Lincoln Park invite you to join a tour to learn about the history of Lincoln Park this Sunday, 11/16 at 2pm. The 30-minute tour, led by a life-long Capitol Hill resident, will cover the park's history, including its use as a Civil War hospital, its famous statues, the park's trees, and more! 

How to sign up: Please sign up using signup genius here. We are limiting the tour to 15 people on a first-come, first-served basis. We will email everyone who signs up on Friday, 11/14, to let them know if they have a spot on the tour or if they are on the waitlist. Those who are unable to participate in this tour will have priority to sign up for future tours.

Meeting Location: Meet at the Lincoln Statue promptly at 2pm

Cost: Free, though any tax-deductible donations to the Friends of Lincoln Park are appreciated via paypal or venmo.

More on the Friends of Lincoln Park: Friends of Lincoln Park is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that works to put on events for the community and invest in the upkeep of the park. We conduct our activities in partnership with the National Park Service (NPS), which manages Lincoln Park.  Our partnership with NPS began in 2023.
